The Deck House School is pleased to congratulate our Assistant Headmaster Melinda Browne on the successful defense of her doctoral thesis at The University of Exeter in Devon, England. Dr. Browne has been with The Deck House School for ten years. In addition to her responsibilities as Assistant Headmaster and teacher of mathematics, she guided the school through our recent NEASC accreditation.
For those who may not be familiar with The Deck House School, we are a small (12 student maximum) boarding school for boys who have had difficulties in more traditional academic settings. These are boys who, although they do not need a therapeutic setting, will benefit from being a member of a small and supportive learning community.
