Daybreak Canyon is excited to announce their collaboration with Sutton Enterprises to enhance the marketing of the program. Lisa Sutton has joined Larry McArthur, founder and CEO, as well as Tracy Edwards, Program director, in their effort to share the great work that Daybreak Canyon has been doing for ten years. Lisa says she's very excited to join such an experienced team, plus be able to work with a program in her backyard. Daybreak Canyon is located thirty miles east of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Lisa started her career working with adolescents over thirty years ago while working with the government funded Upward Bound program in Upstate New York. She continued working direct care with adjudicated youth on a wagon train and as wilderness instructor where she also became the Quality Assurance manager for the East Coast. She moved west to work at a therapeutic boarding school and eventually moved into admissions and marketing for a young adult program. Working in several capacities with all different kinds of programs enabled her to open Sutton Enterprises, a marketing consulting company, in 2014. Her biggest joy is seeing programs reach their potential. Lisa feels it is a benefit t for both her programs and the referral sources she has relationships with to have a connection to serve the families we work with to the best of our abilities.

Lisa is looking forward to working with and having people learn about Daybreak Canyon as they fit into the category of a great program that's been around for long time, but are not as well know. Lisa states, " I love to have good programs get the exposure they deserve and being the one to get their name out there is what makes my work so rewarding." Daybreak Canyon is the first green RTC in the country. We work with 11-17 year old boys with adoption, attachment, anxiety, depression, and/or executive dysfunction issues. The program focuses on the five pillars- Self, Family, Community, Conservation, and Spirituality. The spirituality is for the student to increase understanding of one's own beliefs, morals and values. The summer in north Idaho is beautiful and Lisa would be happy to set up a tour to come see what we're doing.
