Roy Negrete Establishes
"Darren's Shoes" for Nephew

It is with a heavy heart that I have sent you a letter to inform the world of my intention to build a 501(3) c non-profit in the honor of my nephew, Aviation Ordnance man Airman Darren Ethan Tate, a war hero at 21 years old, his citations include The Bronze Star, The NATO Medal, The Global War on Terror Medal, The Afghan Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct and the National Defense Medals.

The intent is that his memory does not pale; in fact this non-profit will continue the legacy of love and humanitarian display he showed for total strangers in a strange land. He would send money home to have his mother, Barbara Tate, purchase shoes and other clothing items to ship back to him so he could give them away to poor Afghan people young and old. It shall be called "Darren's Shoes" and will be a Global outreach ministry putting shoes on strangers' feet, both young and old.

I have large shoe sponsors and a large warehousing facility to provide the storage and shipping of the products for shipping abroad. I also have a crew of dedicated volunteers.

Our application is in progress for our own 501(3) c. We are operating under a legitimate 501(3) c GTS Tax ID# 26-2048747 until we acquire our own so your donations come with a tax-exempt status.

I am now calling for donations to this noble cause; it is typical to accept donations of $25.00 that will cover the cost of one pair of shoes, shipping and shipping discounts for multiple sets. But we will accept any amounts. Even if you don't donate maybe you know someone that was directly or indirectly affected by the war and would like to give back to humanity in the name of a fallen hero.
