New Executive Director
At Coyote Coast

Coyote Coast is pleased to announce founding member Alex Georgakopoulos has accepted the position of Executive Director.

"We feel Alex is the ideal person to lead Coyote Coast into the future based on his passion for family work, extensive experience and knowledge of adolescent development and psychology and his vision of community collaboration."

We recently had our second open house with the theme of 'Community Collaboration' co-sponsored by Integrated Teen Services, hosting a continuum of local and national providers. We have worked hard to establish these relationships, and the presence of these professionals was an indication of the shared values and vision in how we can best support our clients."

Prior to his work at Coyote Coast, for the past 20 plus years, Alex has expanded his knowledge in adolescent psychology and has served as a camp director, a high school football coach, an inpatient psychiatric mental health worker, an outpatient therapist for at-risk adolescents and most recently, for the past nine years, he was the Deputy Director of Jail After Care Services, working with adult offenders with mental illness in both the San Francisco County Jail and Superior Court System.

Coyote Coast is designed to provide therapeutic support services to teens and families experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/substance related difficulties, including experimentation, providing support to families who may have teens returning from out-of-home placements such as wilderness programs, therapeutic boarding schools, residential treatment centers, and rehabilitation programs.
