When families start having internal problems, there are professionals that can help. One such professional is Beth Venable, who recently hung out her shingle with her new endeavor: 'Coaching, Consulting and Adventure'. Beth, who joined Lon Woodbury on March 6, 2015, was eager to share her exciting news and explained how her career and vast experience with therapeutic boarding schools and wilderness programs over the past several years will now help families as a family coach. Emphasizing that she is a coach and not a therapist, Beth explained that after several sessions with the parents and understanding what the particular needs for the family are, she then suggests several options that can work to bring the family back into a more interconnected unit. For an example, one such option may include a four day outdoor adventure custom designed for that particular family, which she would lead. In the past, while working with children enrolled in therapeutic programs, Beth would lead these types of adventures and now plans on giving these kind of experiences to her own clients.
