Therapeutic programs through out the United States are receiving letters this week from Sallie Mae notifying them of their decision to discontinue funding loans to their programs. This announcement marks the third educational lender to cease offering private k-12 loans since April. Parents who are considering a Sallie Mae loan have until August 22, 2008 to apply. No new applications will be accepted after that date.

This latest decision has many parents and programs wondering where to turn for financing solutions. Although educational loans are clearly a dwindling option in our current financial market, other types of financing are still available, in the form of private loans and lines of credit which are being offered through Clark Behavioral Health Financing.

"We will continue to help families obtain financing, even in this changing market." says Shauna Clark, president of Clark Custom Education Loans Inc and Clark Behavioral Health Financing. "Since day one, this company has explored every financing option available to families, and with our unique relationship with multiple lenders we are able to offer some of the best products available."
