Andy Sapp, Founder, and CEO of Cherry Gulch is thrilled to announce that Cherry Gulch has been named a recipient of the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award for Idaho, an honor sponsored by the state psychological association with support from the American Psychological Association. The award is presented to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to programs and policies that foster employee health and well-being while enhancing organizational performance.

According to the American Psychological Association, creating a psychologically healthy workplace takes a firm commitment to employee well-being. Even under difficult circumstances, organizations who receive the award have a distinct advantage in their ability to attract and retain the very best staff. Participating organizations took part in a rigorous evaluation process that, in addition to an application and anonymous employee surveys, included state psychological association representatives touring the workplace and talking with individuals at various levels throughout the organization.

"It is an honor to be recognized for this distinction," said Andy Sapp, Founder, and CEO of Cherry Gulch. "The true benefit of this acknowledgment comes in working with people who are passionate about our mission and are committed to serve our young men in a way that brings them success both professionally and personally."

"We at IPA are most appreciative of the Model set by your organization for the adolescent residential treatment industry," said Debra Larsen Aubry, Ph.D., President of the Idaho Psychological Association. "Thank you for your contribution to the psychological health of those within your organization and the Idaho community."
