The Easley, SC recreational flag football league presented the MOST VALUABLE PLAY AWARD to Cherokee Creek Boys School...to the ENTIRE TEAM! This unprecedented honor, recognizing both teamwork and sportsmanship, was voted on by all the parents, coaches and team members of the league. Cherokee Creek players have been consistently recognized on the field for their courtesy to others and positive attitudes. The 4-foot trophy was awarded to the boys amidst floodlights and fanfare in a ceremony at the final All-Star game on May 12th
Individual recognition was also given to students Daniel and Greg who were selected to play in the evening's All-Star game. And the icing on the cake… CCBS Coach Kory Byrd was selected as a coach for one of the All-Star teams and named COACH OF THE YEAR by the league! Congratulations to our boys and Coach Kory for these great honors.
