Cedar Ridge Academy Adds
Special Education Services

Cedar Ridge Academy is pleased to announce the addition of a certified special education teacher to our school staff. Ms. Denise Mooney brings with her over 20 years of experience and a high degree of expertise in providing services to students with IEP's and 504 plans. She has a passion for working with youth and a strong desire to see them develop and thrive.

We are in the process of certifying our special education component with a number of states that offer financial support to parents for out-of-state placement when their child's needs cannot be met locally. Cedar Ridge Academy has long been adept at dealing with behavioral and emotional blocks to learning. We have now added Denise's expertise in dealing with specific learning disabilities and in managing the mounds of paperwork that accompany an IEP or 504 plan.

*We currently have a waiting list for male students. If you are currently working with a family interested in attending our school, please speak to one of our admission counselors to determine how quickly they may enroll. If you feel you have a young man that may be a good fit for our school, please communicate early in the process so we may coordinate a placement reservation.

Cedar Ridge Academy is a college prep, therapeutic boarding school for teens who are struggling with one or more of the following: Academic performance, Appropriate social behavior and/or peer relationships, Respect for authority, Family relationships, Depression/anxiety, Trauma, and/or Drug experimentation.
