Welcomes New Guidance Counselor

This summer brought with it excitement for our Cedar Ridge Academic team with the addition of Holland Olsen as the new Guidance Counselor. Holland's energy is contagious around campus as he tackles the individual needs of the students not only in their academic pursuits but also in coaching them on the court and field.

Holland completed his undergraduate degree of Public Relations from Dixie State College where he worked in higher education for 3 years as an admissions advisor. He later finished his Master of Arts in Education School Guidance Counseling where he will be putting those skills to practical use here at Cedar Ridge Academy.

Though Holland is in the midst of settling down with his new wife here in Roosevelt, Utah, he still manages to find time to facilitate the Why Try group after school. We couldn't possibly be any more thrilled with the addition of Holland to our team, and look forward to our working future together.
