This Friday, April 15, 2011, Catherine Freer Wilderness Therapy Programs and Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Services will be holding CEU training on:

Breaking Down the Barriers- Engaging Adolescents in Substance Abuse Treatment
When: Friday, April 15, 2011
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Located: Red Lion River Inn - 700 N. Division Spokane, WA

This training will provide experiential lessons in engaging adolescents in substance abuse specifically during the critical, initial time-frame and first stages of treatment. You will learn tips on responding to resistance and reluctance, how to support teenagers in creating their own treatment goals and facilitating movement through pre-contemplation.

This training offers 3- CEU credits, with no fee for training within the professional network.

Trainings will be presented by Katherine Eastlake, LPC, CADC-1 and Kris Bella, MAATR, CADC.

(Coffee and pastries will be provided.)
