Cascade Crest Transitions, located in Bend, Oregon, assists young adults dealing with learning struggles and those that have engaged in prolonged drug and alcohol use experience deficits in their executive functioning levels. It uses an experientially-based approach to provide students with the skills necessary to solve personal problems, grow more confident and develop a healthy lifestyle.

Sean Fievet is the Executive Director. He worked in Bend Oregon at a long-standing transition program for Young Adults, but when the program closed , he gathered key staff people and founded Cascade Crest Transitions to continue to provide safe and effective treatment to young adults struggling with the transition to adulthood. Nancy J. Lode, MA, LPC, CADC II received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Marylhurst University and her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Montana. Sandy MacDonald, LCSW, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University on Montana and his Master's Degree in Social Work from Walla Walla College.

This program works with young adults, aged 18-25, who have struggled to effectively transition into adulthood. These struggles are related to drug and alcohol using behaviors, mood disorders, learning issues and motivation issues. Cascade Crest is structured into three distinct phases. There is an initial 3-4 month residential phase when students are introduced to and practice healthy living habits in all dimensions of their life (physical, social, mental) and learn healthy emotional coping skills, rooted in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) philosophy and practice. This is followed by a six-month structured independent-living experience where students continue to practice these healthy habits and skills while receiving support and supervision from program staff. Students live more independently and engage in "full-time" college/work in addition to regular program activities. In the final or aftercare phase of the program, students continue to receive individual therapy, academic mentoring and drug-screening as they transition to life as a fully independent young adult.
