CORE Health Care is please to welcome Richard Temple, PhD as our new Vice President of Clinical Operations. Dr. Temple is a neuropsychologist who has specialized in working with a wide variety of individuals with special needs. He has experience with personality assessments, quality of life initiatives and has contributed much to the field of brain injury rehabilitation and research. He has received research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
Dr. Temple received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology from Illinois State University. He earned his doctoral degree in Medical/Clinical Psychology with a Neuropsychology emphasis from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. From there he completed a one-year clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School. Dr. Temple has given numerous training and research presentations at state, national, and international conferences.
Prior to joining CORE, he served as the Director of Neuropsychology at the Transitional Learning Center in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Temple joins CORE in our 25th year of providing safe and successful treatment of individuals with special needs.
CORE Health Care is a specialty residential treatment provider located in Austin and Dripping Springs, Texas, with four facilities providing post-acute brain injury rehabilitation; long-term care for people with brain injuries; long-term care for people with complex psychiatric disorders, autism or other special needs; and community re-entry services.
