After six years as our Director of Long-Term Care, Dale Barrett, is leaving CORE to take on new challenges in her career. We will greatly miss Dale and her hard work over the years. We are pleased to introduce and welcome Scott Archer as the new Director of Long-Term Care. Scott Licensed is a Master Social Worker and Nursing Facility Administrator as well as being certified in Long-Term Healthcare Administration. Scott comes to CORE with over 10 years experience and a solid reputation in working for quality driven, long-term health care communities in Central Texas. He has served on many local public committees aimed at improving the quality of life for adults residing in long-term care facilities. The Director of Long Term Care is responsible for the development, implementation, and quality of all brain injury and psychiatric treatment services.
Please join us in congratulating Chrystal Wells who has been promoted to Vice President of Finance effective this month. Chrystal has been with the company for eleven years, starting out as an administrative assistant at the Brown campus. She has been a tremendous resource not only for the CORE Board, but for many employees who work with Chrystal on benefits issues. Chrystal will continue to manage the business office but in addition, she will take responsibility for overall financial policies including budgets, tax planning, company credit and insurance. The creation of this new VP position is the first step toward the creation of a three person executive Board that will eventually manage all day-to-day operations.
