December 10, 2009

It gives me great pleasure to announce some upcoming changes at Bromley Brook School in Manchester, Vermont.

Effective December 14, 2009 Dr. David Hans will be joining Bromley Brook as our new Executive Director. Dr. Hans was most recently the Head of School at the King George School in Northern Vermont. Prior to that, he was at Albuquerque Academy in New Mexico, a traditional private preparatory school where he served in a senior position in their clinical department. Dr. Hans' background in traditional preparatory school as well as his clinical background and service in a therapeutic boarding school make him a perfect addition to lead the Bromley Brook team.

I am equally pleased to report that Laura Mack will be resuming her role as the Academic Director and College Counselor for Bromley Brook. Academics have always been Laura's first love and she is looking forward to serving our students full time in that capacity.

Please join me in congratulating both David and Laura!
They can be reached at dhans@bromleybrook.com and lmack@bromleybrook.com.

Bromley Brook School is a licensed residential school for girls ages 14-18 that offer a college preparatory curriculum as well as therapeutic support. Staff are uniquely adept at working with young women who have not performed at their full potential in the past. A comprehensive, research-based assessment is followed by the creation of an individualized plan for each young woman's educational and personal growth needs. Time-honored traditions of all-girl boarding schools are further enhanced with in-depth family education and professional support.
