James Murray is proud to announce Amanda Thomas has joined Breakthrough Interventions. With Thomas' experience, training, and professionalism as a marriage and family therapist, she is a wonderful addition to Breakthrough. "Amanda has the perfect skill set for our intervention work; she can adeptly support and challenge families while helping struggling individuals take the next right step," says Murray.

Breakthrough Interventions provides family focused interventions that address the difficult dynamics that risky behaviors create in the home environment. We create successful and impacting interventions for adolescents and adults displaying behaviors that place the individual and the family at risk. Our multidisciplinary approach incorporates the best practices of each intervention model. This approach can include a Motivational Intervention or a 3 day Family Systemic Intervention to facilitate change for the entire family. Thomas' role as an interventionist will be to lead families through the intense process with loved ones to engage in treatment and begin a healing process.

"I have enjoyed educating families and professionals about therapeutic services, and my goal has always been to guide families through challenging times. Breakthrough's philosophies and approach are similar to mine and I look forward to serving families once again" stated Thomas.
