Breakthrough Educational Consultation, LLC located in New England is adding two new staff to support its tremendous growth.

Stacey Forrest joined the practice in December of 2014. She supports Breakthrough and its families by providing case consultation and treatment recommendations for our most complex clients. Stacey has several years of experience in the clinical world of residential treatment. She is also adjunct faculty to the Trauma Center in Brookline.

Sarah Kostecki recently joined Breakthrough. She is a Therapeutic Consultant who will be working directly with families and providers. Sarah is a Master's level mental health clinician and Registered Drama Therapist with extensive experience in therapeutic school settings servicing trauma-impacted children and adolescents, as well as children with developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Sarah's clinical experience includes work with dual-diagnosis adolescents and adults in inpatient and partial-hospitalization programs. Currently, Sarah is a staff clinician for a reputable non-profit agency that specializes in trauma-informed clinical services for children and adults. Sarah is also a troupe member of a therapeutic theatre intervention provided in the residential school setting, which utilizes theater and improvisational techniques to increase regulation skills, self-esteem, and trauma processing/integration in adolescents with complex trauma. Sarah has previous experience working for a state agency providing audit and oversight to local human service providers. Sarah earned her bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Boston College and received a master's degree in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University.
