Daskivich Joins Boulder Creek Academy

Boulder Creek Academy (BCA), a program of Idaho Educational Services, has created a new Dean of Students/Assistant School Director position to oversee daily milieu operations in keeping with the vision of an integrated service model. Dr. Brian A. Daskivich, Psychologist, is a welcome addition to the BCA senior-management team in that new role, and is an excellent fit with his esteemed and familiar senior-management colleagues including: Paul Johnson, Executive Director; Marjorie Timms, Ph.D., Academic Dean; Linda Daggy, M.Ed., LCPC, LMHC, Clinical Director; and Shawnale Wilson, Admissions Director.

Our mission at Boulder Creek Academy, a therapeutic boarding school, is to create a safe, nurturing, learning community in which young men and women experience academic success and explore individual potential, while learning to develop fulfilling relationships, make responsible decisions, and discover and demonstrate the confidence and skills necessary to navigate and contribute to a changing world. Dr. Daskivich's role in that mission is to assist BCA in its evolution and refinement, and to identify and implement enhancements, supports and training protocols to further integrate our services, structures, programs and departments. Dr. Daskivich has worked as a clinician and administrator in a variety of locales and settings, including hospitals and therapeutic boarding schools. He brings those work experiences as well as his own collection of life experiences to bear--including father, husband, musician and outdoor enthusiast to name a few--as a new member of the Boulder Creek community in service to our children, families and consultants.
