Treadaway Joins Boulder Creek Academy

Boulder Creek Academy welcomes Reid Treadaway as the Director of Admissions and Business Development.

Treadaway has worked in the therapeutic school and program field for more than 12 years. His experience includes working at wilderness therapy programs and residential treatment centers. His area of focus is connecting with referring professionals and parents and facilitating the admissions process. He has also worked directly with adolescents as a mentor and a wilderness field guide.

"Reid is a great asset to Boulder Creek," explained Dr. Adam McLain, chief executive officer of Boulder Creek Academy and Northwest Academy. "He has an innate ability to connect with parents, has established a solid reputation amongst many of our referring professionals, and is a welcomed addition to our team."

"I have always admired the work that Boulder Creek Academy has done on behalf of their students. They have customized the curriculum to meet the students' unique academic and therapeutic needs and continue to look for new ways to enhance their offerings," said Treadaway.

Treadaway is taking over the admissions role from Brandi Elliott who was acting as the interim admissions director for Boulder Creek Academy. Elliott will continue to serve in her role as the director of admissions and business development for Northwest Academy.

Boulder Creek Academy is a therapeutic boarding school that features a state-licensed special education program. The academy specializes in working with adolescents 13 to 18 years of age who are struggling with academic, processing, social development, mental health and behavioral issues. Students learn to embrace their challenges and to tap into areas of strength.
