Blueprint Education, a nonprofit educational organization, is proud to announce the recent hiring of Mrs. Christine Sparacino, to the Blueprint Education family.
Chris will be officially joining the Blueprint team beginning January 10, 2011. Chris will focus on Grant Funding Development and subsequent reporting requirements. She will also research foundation, state and federal competitive and entitlement funding, as well as facilitate the design, development, and writing of grants to support division strategic and tactical planning. Chris will coordinate strategic partnerships and ensure excellent program deliverables in securing high quality competitive and entitlement grants.
Chris has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design, and taught junior high school for 8 years (6 years in Alameda, CA and 2 years for the Department of Defense in Karlsruhe, Germany). She has a California Life Teaching Credential. Chris also holds a certificate in Technical and Professional Writing with a focus on grant proposal writing, copywriting, and desktop publishing. Her required writing internship was at Children's Hospital, Oakland, where she was responsible for funding research and grant proposal writing for the Center for Child Protection Services. She also has vast experience in research, major proposal writing, and grants management for Alliant University, Alameda County Office of Education, various city governments, law enforcement, medical research, as well as many non-profit organizations.
