Benedictine Invites Educational Consultants To Visit

Benedictine has been helping children with developmental disabilities achieve their greatest potential for over 50 years, but we are relatively new to the national Educational Consultant arena. We welcome a chance to answer any questions you may have and to set up a time to tour.

You may know that the Benedictine School is a co-ed, nonpublic, secular, year round residential and day school for children 5-21 with developmental, intellectual, and multiple disabilities. We are not a residential treatment center. You may not be aware of how unique our programs and services are.

We are particularly proud of our:

• Highly individualized, wrap around services that support the "whole" child


• Campus and community based vocational training in a wide variety of industries


• Expertise in helping transitioning youth prepare for adult living


• Frequent, routine community outings reinforcing functional, social, and life skills


• Intensive clinical resources provided in natural settings, both in the classroom and in home life


• Intensive behavioral supports with behavioral specialists working in tandem with teachers


• large classrooms with sensory areas and extensive use of technology


• 24/7 nursing

Additionally, our full sized gymnasium, fully renovated accessible playground, aqua therapy center, and extensive outdoor amenities provide ample play, social and recreational opportunities.
