Benchmark Young Adult School announces that Meghan Frawley, a former student and Platinum Level graduate, has been hired as a part-time resident counselor. During her enrollment at Benchmark, Meghan earned high honors by exceeding all expectations in completing her Benchmark personal growth and independent living curriculum, in addition to her dedication to pursuing her education.
Since graduating in January, 2007, Meghan consistently displayed maturity and competence as a resident advisor, living and working with other students while she completed her Benchmark Graduate Level curriculum. Recently, an opening for a paid part-time position as resident counselor became available and Meghan quickly took advantage of the opportunity.
"I'm prepared to work for Benchmark because of the experiences I have had here," states Meghan. "I've learned how to balance my personal life with school and work through the time management methods I learned while I was in program here at Benchmark. I've developed solid relationships with the students here and I believe they trust and respect me."
Based upon Meghan's exemplary attitude and determination, the staff at Benchmark easily recognized her potential as an employee. Meghan's job duties allow her to continue classes toward attaining her California Drug and Alcohol Certificate (CDAC) as well as her other classes, with a goal of achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in counseling.
