Auldern Academy is an accredited college preparatory, therapeutic boarding school for girls grades 9 - 12. We provide a traditional academic environment along with group, individual, and family counseling services. We utilize the Positive Peer Culture model at our school and provide students with a structured daily environment that includes chores, therapy sessions, recreational activities and life skills.
Auldern has an immediate need for an experienced Referral Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, the Referral Coordinator is directly responsible for all admission activities of appropriate students to Auldern Academy.
Duties include:
Work in coordination with the Director Of Marketing to maintain maximum population level.
Answer all admissions inquiries.
Respond to all telephone calls and voice mail messages from referral sources and families within 24 hours.
Collect necessary information to determine the student's appropriateness to Auldern.
Control and maintain timeliness in responding to enrollment requests.
Manage enrollment contracts.
Acquire preadmissions information on students from referral and treatment sources.
Maintain the census and send out daily census reports.
Maintain records of all referral source information.
Maintain all admission records and logs.
Enter data into the P.A.N.D.A Pipeline daily.
Enter data into Medtech system as required.
Participate in AR calls as requested.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with members of the referring community.
Set up the clinical record.
Maintain the Referral Contact Log by documenting contacts made with outside agencies.
Share pertinent information with other Auldern departments regarding new students.
Schedule and conduct on-campus tours for referral sources, parents and prospective students.
Interview potential students as requested.
Responsible for contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Complete additional assignments given by the Admissions Director or Executive Director.
Recognizes the importance of confidentiality and abides by and enforces all HIPAA compliance and High Tech requirements.
Participate in marketing events when needed and necessary.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Education, Marketing or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
One or more years of experience working in an admissions department in a similar setting such as a boarding school, therapeutic boarding school, residential program or other educationally related settings with increasing responsibilities.
Exceptional organizational, verbal and written skills.
Excellent phone presentation required.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with students, parents, and co-workers.
Strong familiarity with computers and electronic communication techniques a must. Quickbooks experience preferred, not required.
Attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
Ability to listen to clients, assess needs and respond appropriately.
Must possess initiative and judgment capabilities to organize and plan admissions, referrals, and outreach contacts.

Position Overview
The Director of Student Life directly supervises all Student Life Counselors, Supervisors or Coordinators who provide supervision, recreation, community service opportunities, peer-relations coaching, and life-skills education for our students. The student life program provides for student safety, medical care, transportation, teaches housekeeping and organizational skill as well as implementing the disciplinary intervention twenty-four hours a day. The Director of Student Life is the key designer, manager, and leader of this key department. They are responsible for designing and managing a high-quality student life program that supports the school's stated purpose, mission, and philosophy, and that supports the efforts of all school departments. The Director of Student Life is responsible for the development, leadership, management and delivery of all Student Life programming including but not limited to: Life Skills, Health & Fitness Curriculum and Instruction of Healthy Dorm Life.
Job Duties:
Assign work schedules, following work requirements, to ensure quality and safety for delivery of services to students.
Train counselors in proper operational, disciplinary procedures and functions, explaining and enforcing company policies.
Resolve complaints or grievances regarding counselor performance or services.
Work with supervisors to order and obtain the necessary supplies, equipment, activities and services.
Conduct periodic reviews of personnel along with training, coaching and disciplinary actions, keeping supervisor informed.
Furnish parents, students and co-workers with information on upcoming events or activities.
Collaborate with staff members to plan or develop special programs or events, schedules of activities, to include the logistical planning of these events.
Recruit and hire staff members.
Design and implement the Student Disciplinary System and train staff on the handling of these situations.
Coordinate the delivery of all Student Life services, assigning specific duties to counselors and supervisors.
Work with other departments to assure in the safety of equipment, facility, menus, distribution of medications, supervising of Study Hall, and other services as needed.
Train staff in SAMA techniques.
Oversee departmental budget assuring proper usage
Oversee student store, implementing accountability for money earned and spent.
Oversee the student bank in coordination with the Director of Support Services.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Three years of experience working with youth and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to become a SAMA Instructor.
