Auldern Welcomes Pat Nizzi, EdD
as Dean of Academics

Auldern Academy welcomes Pat Nizzi, Ed.D. as our new Dean of Academics. Dr. Nizzi has a rich history in a variety of educational settings, beginning as a teacher and eventually moving into administration. He has worked in both public and private educational settings primarily focused on special needs. He received his Doctorate in Education from the University of Nebraska. He also holds certification in special education as a cross-categorical learning behavior specialist.

Dr. Nizzi is considered an innovative educational specialist who has successfully pioneered new schools and also restructured existing systems to better meet the needs of students. We are excited to have him join the already excellent Auldern faculty and look forward to what he has to offer our teachers, students and parents.

Dr. Nizzi and his wife recently relocated to Apex from Chicago to be near family and grandchildren. We are excited to have him join us and begin to introduce him to the therapeutic school network.
