Auldern Academy Graduates 22 Students

On June 1, 2012, under the blue skies of North Carolina, 22 girls made the promenade walk around the lake to the site of their high school graduation. Following in Auldern's tradition, they were dressed in white, carried yellow roses and followed a bag piper. Twelve of the young women received diplomas for June 1 and the other 10 will receive their diplomas upon finishing summer school August 3. The young women were joined by friends, family and staff member who came to honor them as they crossed the bridge between adolescence and young adulthood, marked by the fulfillment of their dreams of high school graduation.

The graduating class of 2012 was accepted into some 53 colleges and universities around the country. This list included St. John's University, University of Mary Washington, College of William & Mary, University of Maryland, Warren Wilson College, Jefferson College, Missouri State University, Alamance Community College, Landmark College, Lynn University, Prescott College, Southeastern Louisiana University, Louisiana State University, University of Alabama, University of Louisiana Lafayette, Northwestern University, Greensboro College, High Point University, William Peace University, Savannah College Of Art & Design, University of North Florida, University of Mississippi, Samford University, Lynchburg College, East Carolina University, Appalachian State University, University of Kansas, So.
