Auldern Academy Now
Accepting Eighth Graders

Auldern Academy is pleased to announce that we are now open to the enrollment of girls in the 8th grade. This decision was prompted by many inquiries from the Educational Consultant community who regularly refer to Auldern. Many expressed a need for this service so that the young girls could be closer to their homes on the east coast.

For the last three years, Auldern accepted a few 8th graders who were in need of soft therapeutic placement where they could be challenged educationally, as well as to receive the individual and group therapy we offer. An important consideration was these girls could also benefit from interaction with the older students who could help them develop insight and hold them accountable for their behaviors.

We have developed an educational curriculum specific for 8th grade that will prepare them for the more academically challenging high school years. They will also receive the excellent therapeutic services that Auldern has become known for over the last four years. Special activities and social events are in place to help them feel at home in a boarding school environment.
