Brian Church -
President of the Aspiro Group
Since he was 15 years old, when his father started one of he first wilderness therapy programs in the country, Brian has been fascinated by the outdoor skills that were taught and the power behind a well-run outdoor program.
Brian has rubbed shoulders with and learned from some of the brightest minds it the industry, and has excelled in his ability to forge long term relationships and bring success to the positions and organizations in which he has worked. Brian has a keen recognition of those professionals who would work well together to bring the best possible product to market.

Gordon Day, PhD,
Executive Director
Dr. Day, a recognized expert in the assessment and treatment of adolescents with neurodevelopmental and other learning and processing issues, joined the Aspiro team in April of 2008.
His vision and passion has been to create dynamic, individualized outdoor therapeutic programming. He has pioneered outdoor therapeutic approaches specifically tailored to the needs of adolescents and young adults struggling with complex learning and emotional issues.

Josh Watson, LCSW -
Director of Admissions and Marketing
Josh has over 12 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and their families.
As an original member of the Aspiro Leadership Team, Josh has performed many duties including a Clinical Wilderness Therapist, Clinical Supervision, and is currently Aspiro's Admissions Director.
Josh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Utah and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. His graduate research focus was in child and family development, psychiatric assessment of children, and the integration of solution-based behavioral approaches into the public school sector.
Josh served for two years as in internal and field research analyst for the Great Schools and Families Research Project funded by the CDC through the University of Georgia. He also has experience working for community service boards, inpatient psychiatric hospitals for adolescents, and private practice. His areas of clinical expertise are in interpersonal relationships, leadership skills, assessment, and resource allocation.

Woody Crowell -
Program Director
Having worked with young adults and adolescent in various capacities since 1997, Woody is a great addition to the Executive Team at the Aspiro family of programs.
Woody is no stranger to wilderness adventure therapy. As the initial owner/operator for eight years of the largest adolescent and young adult crisis intervention organization in the United States, woody maintained 55 employees and personally helped over 1,000 families seek treatment for their son or daughter. Woody worked as a Director of Admissions and Marketing Director for several Therapeutic Outdoor Programs, and was responsible for all admissions, marketing materials, website design/maintenance, the creation and updates of Parent and Field Manuals, and more. During this time he formed personal relationships with Clinical Professionals, Executive Directors, and Therapeutic Community leaders all over the country and is widely respected and trusted in the therapeutic wilderness and residential communities. Woody also has over 450 trail days as a Field Guide in Southern Idaho and Upstate New York, Logistics Coordinator and served as an Assistant Field Director in Southern Idaho.
Woody has been involved in many non-profit organization and clubs, ranging from coaching (football, soccer and baseball), to raising funds to support inner city summer camps in some of the nation's largest metro areas. He was Central Iowa's volunteer of the year in 1997, and has worked as a counselor for many crisis intervention hotlines ranging from teen runaways, Domestic Violence to family abuse. For over 10 years Woody was actively involved as a leader with the Cub/Boy Scouts of America.

Aspiro Group family of programs are based on a Wilderness Adventure Therapy (WAT) model. The Aspiro family of programs are a hybrid between traditional wilderness therapy, and adventure programs such as Outward Bound or NOLS.
