Aspen Education Group, the leading provider of therapeutic education programs for struggling or underachieving young people, has announced its own version of a "Stimulus Package" to help parents afford treatment for their children during these difficult economic times.

"During this time of national economic uncertainty, we understand that it is difficult for many families to afford the level of care that their struggling sons or daughters need," says Patty Evans, Aspen's Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development. "Aspen wants to offer a solution to this problem by providing our own exciting 'Stimulus Package' to our valued referring professionals and the families they serve."

For a limited time, Aspen is offering special pricing on a selection of programs. From now until August 31st, families working with a referring professional may select an Aspen wilderness treatment program plus an Aspen therapeutic boarding school for one low price. Two pricing options exist depending on the level of care required and complexity of issues of the young person. Certain restrictions apply and program participation varies. Contact your Aspen Regional Liaison for more information or call Aspen's Business Development Coordinator, Patricia Doty, at (317) 873-8692.

"The flexibility and creativity that Aspen Education Group is displaying in these tough economic times has helped several of our families," says Chris Kocurek, M.Ed., Executive Director of Academic Answers. "Parents have been able to access help for their struggling children with reduced stress related to finances."

Aspen has also announced a new education/therapeutic loan program in response to the nation's loss of student loan products in 2008. Aspen's parent company, CRC Health Group, is sponsoring a custom loan product to provide affordable financing for families. This loan has been designed to provide incremental financing for qualified borrowers who could not otherwise afford to send their children to Aspen's programs solely by using commercially available consumer loan products. Some restrictions apply. Please contact Aspen Education Group for more details.

"We believe these new financing options will provide help and hope to many families," says Evans. "Just because times are tough shouldn't mean our teens don't get the care they so desperately need."

Aspen Education Group is the nation's leading provider of therapeutic education programs for struggling or underachieving young people. Aspen's services range from short-term intervention programs to residential treatment, and include a variety of therapeutic settings such as boarding schools, outdoor behavioral health programs and special needs summer camps, allowing professionals and families the opportunity to choose the best setting to meet a student's unique academic and emotional needs. Aspen is a division of CRC Health Group, the nation's largest chemical dependency and related behavioral health organization. For over two decades, CRC Health has been achieving successful outcomes for individuals and families.
