Aspen Education Group, the leading provider of therapeutic education programs for struggling or underachieving young people, has announced the reorganization of its divisions to create a tighter continuum of care and stronger clinical delivery model.
The new divisions - geographically divided into East and West United States - integrate Aspen's outdoor behavioral health programs, residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools and special needs camps.
"This reorganization is a positive step for Aspen Education Group as we embrace our vision of improving the quality of life for youth and families, and move the company into the future," said Jim Dredge, Aspen's President. "It will create a tighter continuum of care for our families, with enhanced communication, collaboration and, eventually, improved transition services when a student is ready for that next level of care."
The Western Division is comprised of 17 schools and programs and will be overseen by Mark Dorenfeld, Senior Vice President of Operations. Mark has been with Aspen for 12 years.
Dredge will serve as acting Vice President for the Eastern Division which is comprised of 12 schools, programs and camps.
