Answers for the Family

Special Guest: Rick Johnson is Executive Director of Summit Preparatory School in Kalispell, Montana. He began his career as an outpatient adolescent therapist, and his experience led him to reconsider how best to serve adolescents when outpatient care provides too little and long-term inpatient treatment seems too extreme. This led to his founding Summit Preparatory School in 2003 with his wife Jan, also an MSW, and the opportunity to build a program based on a different perspective to treatment.

Answers for the Family" was born of a desire to help guide parents to professional resources as they face critical moments with their children. Answers for the family will address issues such as: locating your runaway teen, family crisis intervention, building self esteem, dealing with addictions, and international parental abduction. They will introduce you to specialized schools and treatment programs that can really help.
