Announces New Homes

Alpine Academy is very excited to announce the opening of two new homes on our campus! One home is the 6th of our standard group homes, beautifully built and exceeds our high quality expectations. The second new home is for our budding ASPIRE program. The ASPIRE program is designed for our 17 and 18 year old students that are preparing to graduate high school and go off on their own. These students receive the same excellent academic and clinical services as our other students, the shift comes in their residential life. Rather than being set up to function as a typical home, the ASPIRE home is set up to run as a dorm, where staff members that are still trained in our Teaching Family Model focus teaching and skill development around independent living and preparation for that next step in life. In this home students get first-hand, real-life experience in budgeting, meal planning, resume building, interviewing, and a myriad of other skills essential to function as the adults they are becoming.

With these new homes our student capacity goes up to 70 and the expansion of our Academic Center is already well underway to add more classrooms and office space to accommodate our growth. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve even more students and their families!

Alpine Academy offers family-based residential treatment that is uniquely successful at helping teenage girls learn the skills to succeed at home, in school, and with their own families. Alpine is a part of Utah Youth Village, one of Utah's oldest and largest charities providing treatment to children and families in crisis.
