Dear Alpine Academy Community,
With heartfelt emotion, I am announcing my resignation from Alpine Academy. It has been such an incredible privilege and honor to be a part of the development of Alpine Academy. My heart and soul are at Alpine! I have loved every staff member, student, parent, and professional that has been or is still associated with Alpine.
I have accepted the position as the Executive Director of Fulshear Treatment to Transition, an immersive program that combines residential treatment and independent living transition opportunities for young adult women between the ages of 18 to 25, south of Houston, near Sugar Land, Texas. I am so excited for my next adventure~ I have a passion for working in the young adult population and I am hopeful my skills and strengths can positively impact this needed continuum of care.
My time at Alpine Academy has been incredibly rewarding and personally life-changing. The relationships I have developed while at Alpine will go with me forever. There are no words to adequately describe the positive impact so many of you have had on my life! I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Although I am sad to leave Alpine Academy, I am confident in the leadership team and skilled staff that will continue there. Specifically, I am proud of the strength, depth and sophistication of the clinical team. Please rest assured that I will be working closely with the leadership team to find my replacement and facilitate a smooth transition. I am certain that the amazing work at Alpine will continue to change lives and effect generations to come.
I leave you with my favorite quote, "People come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn. And we are led to those who help us most to grow, if we let them and help them in return." ~ Glinda, The Good Witch - Wicked.
Thank you for being in my life! Thank you for helping me most to grow!
With much love, respect and admiration,
Nikki
