Alpine Academy is thrilled to announce the recent presentation of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award to Eric Bjorklund, the Executive Director of our parent company, Utah Youth Village. This prestigious accolade was presented to Eric in recognition of the leadership and foresight he showed in finding creative new strategies for keeping our large non-profit agency financially viable in a difficult economy.

Ernst and Young has be recognizing leaders in our community with this award since 1986; in its history, over half of the NASDAQ top 100 companies have received this honor.

Eric's work with Alpine Academy and Utah Youth Village was recognized in the Services category, one of 12 categories in the region. As an award winner, Eric has been entered to compete to win the National Entrepreneur of the year. Alpine staff are so proud of him for this accomplishment and ever grateful for the wisdom and guidance he brings to Alpine's mission of helping struggling teens and their families.

Alpine Academy offers family-based residential treatment that is uniquely successful at helping teenage girls learn the skills to succeed at home, in school, and with their own families. Alpine is a part of Utah Youth Village, one of Utah's oldest and largest charities providing treatment to children and families in crisis.
