Participating consultants included James Loveland, Camille Bertram, Lynn Luckenbach, Marcia Rubenstien, Nancy Ike, Mary Mansfield, Milton Little, Londa May, Jacinta Perkins, Jody Dobson, Marilyn Engelman, Sue Bigg, Liz Gordon, Ben Mason, Theresa Andrew, Jeanne Hughes, Nancy Cadwallader, and Diane Arnold.

Three therapeutic programs in the Eastern Mid-Atlantic area - New Lifestyles of Winchester, VA, New Dominion School of Oldtown, MD, and Alldredge Academy of Davis, WV - recently hosted their Rediscover Tour for educational consultants specializing in special needs placement. The first collaborative tour of all three programs in nearly five years, the Rediscover Tour sought to reintroduce participants to the uniqueness of each program and allowed for the re-examination of therapeutic principles and practices. Tour participants enjoyed two days of program visits engaging staff and students on their roles and experiences at each respective program.

Participating consultants included James Loveland, Camille Bertram, Lynn Luckenbach, Marcia Rubenstien, Nancy Ike, Mary Mansfield, Milton Little, Londa May, Jacinta Perkins, Jody Dobson, Marilyn Engelman, Sue Bigg, Liz Gordon, Ben Mason, Theresa Andrew, Jeanne Hughes, Nancy Cadwallader, and Diane Arnold.

"This has been such a wonderful experience all around," remarked Dr. Ken Cuave, President and Clinical Psychologist of New Lifestyles. "Although we are three very different programs, we were able to craft a tour that featured not only the unique qualities of each program, but also our shared mission of restoring young people and their families to healthy and productive lives."

Ben Montano, Group Administrator for New Dominion Schools of VA and MD, echoed Dr. Cuave's comments adding, "The Rediscover Tour has completely exceeded our expectations. The educational consultants were very engaging, and we were able to accomplish our tour objectives. We all hope to continue our success with a tour this October and additional tours in the future."
