AGAPE Youth Ministry ("AYM") is a nondenominational Christian, faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit Arizona corporation, which was formed by men who have years of law enforcement and prison ministry experience working with at-risk youth. They have seen the need for affordable faith-based programs that would be effective tools to change the hearts and lives of these "at risk" youth.
The Mission of AYM is to help hurting / at-risk teens through hands-on Christian-based programs. AYM established the Agape Youth Ranch Academy as one of these programs. The Ranch Academy provides a "safe haven" by removing teens from their negative environment and placing them in a positive environment at a Christian ranch and school setting where they can experience the kind of love, acceptance, and healthy boundaries that will exemplify the love, faithfulness and hope found in Jesus Christ.
The Ranch Academy is 12 month, 4 quarter boarding school program for teens between 13-17 years. AYRA uses the individual paced Accelerated Christian Education program, (ACE), a 6 step character building program and a canine and equestrian program to help with relationship development. The staff does weekly and bimonthly level assessments for each student's progress. Student enrollment is all year. The Academy keeps a staff ratio of 8 students to 1 staff member. The Academy is currently only enrolling boys.
Our fee structure is very reasonable. To help make it even more affordable, we offer different funding options of low cost loans; income-based sliding scale fees, and scholarships. It is our desire to help those families that normally could not afford such a program as what Agape Youth Ranch Academy is offering.
