Active Recovery Network is proud to announce that it has joined NATSAP (the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) as a Young Adult Affiliate program.
"We are proud to be accepted into the family of great NATSAP programs and are honored to uphold and abide by the Ethical Principles of the organization," said Britton H. Turkett, Founder and Director.
After relocating from Boulder, Colorado to San Diego, CA in 2011, Mr. Turkett continued his work in the treatment industry teaching mindfulness groups at one residential treatment center and helping to open and manage a men's program.
"Offering transitional and community-based recovery support services grew organically out of my work at the treatment facilities. Some of the residents needed or wanted more support, guidance and accountability as they worked to bring their new insights and strategies to bear in the world that had proven difficult in the past," commented Mr. Turkett
As is indicated on the NATSAP website, "The common mission of NATSAP members is to promote the healthy growth, learning, motivation, and personal well-being of program participants." Active Recovery Network is proud to join other NATSAP programs in providing much needed transitional and independent living support to its clients. We look forward to continuing to support our clients and families as they grow in health, wellness and independence.
