Amy Smith Joins
Academic Answers

We are excited to announce that Amy Smith has joined our team as the anchor of Academic Answers -Houston.

Amy has accepted the role of Lead Educational Consultant for our Houston office. She is instrumental in the extension of our full service approach to assisting families and expands our placement services. With Amy as part of our team, we will continue hiring expert professionals to provide special needs and therapeutic placement, college planning, boarding and day school guidance, psycho-educational assessments and transition/aftercare planning services.

Amy Smith has over 25 years of experience in the education field. Prior to joining Academic Answers, Amy served as the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at The Winston School in Dallas for 13 years. Her professional experience includes working with students at both the Briarwood school and River Oaks Baptist School in Houston while specifically working with students with learning differences at the Winston School, Bending Oaks School, and the Shelton School in Dallas. Her solid understanding of the emotional, social, and academic needs of students along with her hands-on experience in guiding parents through the admissions process is of the utmost value in providing consulting services at Academic Answers.
