Goldman Opens ASG Consulting

Alicia Goldman, LCSW is pleased and excited to announce the opening of her private Educational Consulting practice based out of San Francisco.

Although Alicia has worked with individuals from infants to adults, her most extensive training has been with providing therapeutic services to children and families in a variety of settings for close to 20 years. She has expertise in short and long term counseling, behavioral management, crisis intervention, assessment, facilitating the IEP process in school settings, and case management.

Alicia's prior work experience includes starting an Alumni and Family Relations program for an Outdoor Therapeutic Program, and prior to that she worked for close to six years as an Educational Consultant at a large firm based in CA. It is through this work that she believes she can best serve families in need by informing them of their educational and therapeutic options, as well as offering ongoing guidance and support.

Alicia received her BA from Syracuse University, and then went on to receive a Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York City. Since then, she has accumulated close to 20 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings that serve children and families. It was through this work that Alicia developed a strong passion for combining her interests in education and clinical services that can assist families.
