AIM House is thrilled to announce that James Meyer will be joining the team as Executive Director beginning in early August. James comes to us from the renowned Oakley School in Park City, Utah, which he co-founded in 1998 and where he has served as Executive Director for more than 14 years. I have known and respected James for a long time, and we are very fortunate that he will play a role in leading AIM House into the future.

James is no stranger to Boulder, as he graduated from CU in 1987. He later received his Masters in Education at Fairfield University and taught for several years at Kent Denver School. In his time at Oakley, James wore a variety of administrative hats, taught English and History, and coached Oakley's lacrosse team. He was also a board member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) for eight years.

James will be moving to Boulder with his wife Kathryn, an educational consultant, and their three children, Ellie, Noah, and Samantha, who is currently attending CU.

Please join me in welcoming James and his family to the community. I know he is looking forward to getting started, and I'm excited for all of you to get to know him and begin working together to continue making AIM House a special place.

AIM House is a transitional program in Boulder, CO, designed to help its residents gain the educational, occupational, social, and psychological skills necessary to successfully move into adulthood and integrate into the community.
