Therapeutic Expeditions, Inc. has executed an agreement with the current ownership of the SageWalk wilderness program, making Chris Kocurek and his partner, Richard Hardin, responsible for the SageWalk operations. SageWalk, based in Bend, Oregon, and operating since July 1997, provides a therapeutic educational wilderness experience for teens (ages 13 to 17) who are experiencing emotional, academic or behavioral difficulty.

“SageWalk has developed an outstanding program philosophy that truly centers around the students and their families,” said Chris Kocurek, CEO. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with individuals who keep the “kids” in the forefront of their minds. We hold a strong belief that therapeutic wilderness programs of today require experienced, ethical leadership who can provide a service attractive to both families and referrals sources. Our participation in SageWalk will ensure this. ”

The directors of Therapeutic Expeditions, Inc. have over 45 years of combined experience developing and operating programs for children and teenagers.
