SOJOURN INTERNATIONAL
China, Maine 04926
1-800-468-5765
Geoffrey T. Robbins

by Linda Shaffer, 208-263-8394

Sojourn International, long known as a place where international and long distance students can go for vacations and break periods, provides other support services, as well, for the American student. In times of crisis or change, Sojourn's Inn- Residence can be of assistance in a variety of ways to students, schools, parents and consultants.

Sojourn can be an interim placement for a student if he or she has had to leave their present school for reasons of breaking smoking agreements, suspension because of lack of anger controls or drug use, or because of poor academic performance.

"If the student can't come to us, because travel is a problem due to language or age, we will go to the student. We can provide pickup and delivery in a timely fashion to almost anywhere in the country. In short, we deal not just with the predictable, but with the unpredictable as well, not just the happy, but also the sad, not just the easy, but also the hard."

Among the many sojourns at Sojourn are winter skiing trips, snowmobiling safaris to Canada, Grand Canyon and the desert around Sedona, cultural and sightseeing trips to Boston and that is just the beginning of the list.

Sojourn offers reasonable daily, weekly and month rates depending on the services needed. Comprehensive services include SAT and TOEFL arrangements, school visitations, legal and medical interventions, psychological and chemical dependency testing, tutoring, GED preparation, transportation, Driver's Education, and Vacation programs. Scholarships are awarded on a first come first served basis.
